The successful industry effort to pass Dodd-Frank reform is even sweeter this morning for the thousands of Friends of Traditional Banking who have joined forces to send our message to Congress. Congress is hearing us!
Senators we supported in the past like Dean Heller, Pat Toomey, Rob Portman, Joni Ernst, and Cory Gardner were terrific allies. John Tester, the Senator who rallied Democrat support for the bill is very familiar with FOTB and the power of our coordinated giving efforts. This is working!
This election cycle we will be calling on every Friend of Traditional Banking to redouble their efforts as we must reward those who shunned the shrill, partisan voices and stood up for traditional banking!
We Make The Right Calls

Two years ago we opposed Congressman Walter Jones as the only remaining House Republican supporting Dodd-Frank.  Unfortunately he won re-election, but boy, were we right!  Yesterday, he was the only House Republican to vote against the bi-partisan Dodd-Frank reform.
All other Republicans, plus 33 House Democrats, joined together in bi-partisan reg reform. We will continue to thank our friends and punish our foes!

Friends of Traditional Banking is a non-partisan grassroots effort organized by bankers in 2012 to improve the political and regulatory environment for the traditional banking industry in the U.S. FOTB is the inverse of a PAC--instead of spreading a little bit of money to a lot of campaigns, they focus a lot of money on a couple of key campaigns.
