Hovde Gains in Polls

One of the three endorsed candidates of Friends of Traditional Banking this cycle is one of us! Eric Hovde is an entrepreneur and a banker, who is running for office as a first-term US Senator from Wisconsin.

He is Chairman and CEO of Sunwest Bank, headquartered in Utah. He is also CEO and co-owner of Hovde Properties, LLC, a third-generation family company that develops and manages real estate in the Madison, WI, area. Eric is also a senior executive or board member for several other businesses operating in the financial services sector.

Since our endorsement, bankers around the country are donating what they can to help his cause. A couple polls earlier this month had him down 7 and 8 points, but the last two polls have him down only 3 and 5. HOVDE IS CLOSING THE GAP, HAS THE MOMENTUM, AND COULD WIN WITH YOUR HELP!

Please mail him a check at PO Box 2055, Madison, WI 53701, or use the button below to make a quick credit card donation of any size.

Satterlee to Rep Idaho on

Advisory Council

Stacey Satterlee, new president & CEO of the Idaho Bankers Association, has been named to FOTB's Advisory Council.

Stacey was born and raised in Eastern Idaho and grew up working with her dad on her family’s custom farming operation – she is a proud graduate of Pocatello High School and Utah State University. She has over 20 years of policy experience – 10 of that in Washington, DC, working for various agriculture trade associations before moving back to Idaho with her family. Most recently, she represented Idaho’s wheat and barley growers as the Executive Director of the Idaho Grain Producers Association.

Stacey and her husband Dan live in Meridian and have three children – 14-year-old twins Addison and Jackson and Ben, who is 9 years old. The family recently adopted Dodger, an incredibly high-energy lab puppy. Most days you can find her on a golf course with her boys, on a tennis court with her daughter, or on a walk with her dog.

Two Congressmen Also Need Our Help

In addition to Eric Hovde, US Senate candidate in Wisconsin, Friends of Traditional Banking has also endorsed Representatives Zach Nunn (IA) and David Schweikert (AZ).

Both of these members of the US House are proven allies of the banking industry and the American economy. Both have served on the House Financial Services Committee, and both are among the closest races in the country.

THEY NEED OUR HELP! If the 25,000+ who get this email make a donation ay any size to their races, it would be a huge money bomb that could tip the scales. Learn more about these races and see where to donate HERE.

Friends of Traditional Banking is a non-partisan grassroots effort organized by bankers in 2012 to improve the political and regulatory environment for the traditional banking industry in the U.S. FOTB is the inverse of a PAC--instead of spreading a little bit of money to a lot of campaigns, they focus a lot of money on a couple of key campaigns.
